Client
At the end of 2022, one of the largest educational conglomerates in the world approached us to develop a prominent educational game designed specifically for schools and preschools across the United States.
Challenge
Since the inception of the project, our team has been significantly involved, playing a crucial role in pivotal decisions regarding architecture, features, logic, and technology. Our major challenges encompassed seamlessly integrating our solution into existing educational systems, innovating new features to accommodate diverse user groups, efficiently managing content display, and ensuring strict adherence to project deadlines.
Solution
To overcome these challenges, we engineered an application that rigorously complied with industry standards in business, education, security, and code quality while prioritizing end-user needs. Employing Agile philosophy and utilizing Scrum and Kanban methodologies allowed us to adapt easily to changing requirements. Our unwavering commitment to maintaining high code quality and comprehensive test coverage, following an infrastructure-as-code approach, was evident throughout the development cycle. This dedication led us to exert a double effort beyond what was initially developed before the MVP release.
Technologies
- Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, OpenGL (WebGL)
- Backend: Go, Fiber, PostgreSQL
- Services Integration: AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Github actions, DynamoDB, Docker
Result
The educational game successfully addresses the requests of both the customer and users, as we actively gather feedback from them.
