Challenge

According to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 education software must be accessible. The Customer needed to ensure all lessons and the video player are accessible for all students.

Solution

Working within the Scrum framework with short iterations (2 weeks), the Buffer Group testing professionals performed accessibility testing. We provided it with different types of screen readers

Tools

• JAWS screen reader (with Chrome/IE browsers, CCA (Color contrast Analyser), Text Spacing tool. Results
• QA team identified issues related to the following items:
• Focus of elements
• Keyboard navigation;
• Screen readers behavior;
• Captions and descriptions;
• Contrast issues
• Issues appear after Text Spacing tool activation
